Use Read this page to me function plus Pixel’s Screen Recorder to create videos
There are a lot of audio books, stores read aloud, jokes on YouTube which people like to watch or listen. In some cases, users don’t really watch the video, but just listen to them.
Some people like to listen while working. Parents like to listen to some stores, jokes and riddles with their kids while doing exercise with kids which is pretty common: especially during current pandemic time.
For bloggers who doesn’t have the time, effort or the equipment to make video or record audio. we can create videos easily by using Google Read this page to me function plus Pixel’s Screen Recorder.
First, open the webpage we want to read, or alternatively we can copy the content into sites like justpaste.it, then say: “Hey Google, Read this page to me”. Google Assistant will load the web page and start to read it.
We can stop the reading. Then Swipe down twice from the top of the screen, tap screen record button, choose only record audio from device.
Then continue the reading. Stop the recording when the reading finishes.
Next Steps
- We can then use Google photos to edit the video like trim the video or rotate it and etc.
- We can upload the video to YouTube and embed it into blogger.
- We can use FFmpeg to convert the video to audio.
Problems with Google Read the page
- It can’t recognize web page content perfectly yet (and doesn’t work with Google Doc), sometimes, we have to copy the text into sites like justpaste.it
