- Call Screen to put an end to robocalls My wife’s iPhone gets spam calls more than once a day: when her phone rings, she check the phone number to decide whether to take it: whether it’s likely a spam call. As we moved from new york to California, she stills keeps her old phone number from new york, so sometimes, she gets spam call while we are still sleeping. This is pretty annoying.
In my Pixel phone: I set it to decline spam silently, auto screen and decline robocalls for possibly faked numbers or first-time caller in the Phone app, I almost never receive spam call.
Hidden Features
- Native Screen Recorder
- Smart Storage: Choose to remove backed up photos and videos after 30, 60 or 90 days to free up storage.
- Swipe down on home screen to open notification
- long-press an app’s icon, tap the hourglass icon on the popup to Pause an app
- Swipe fingerprint scanner to open notifications, we can enable this by going to Settings -> System -> Gestures -> Swipe fingerprint for notifications.
- Flip to Shhh to silence notifications when you put your phone down. This can be enabled by going to Settings > System > Gestures > Flip to Shhh.
Camera
- Double-Press power button to quickly launch camera, we can enable this by going to Settings -> System -> Gestures -> Quickly open camera.
- Click the volume button to take a picture while in the camera app.
- Twist your wrist twice to flip between the front and rear cameras, we can enable this by going to Settings -> System -> Gestures -> Flip camera for selfie,
- Press and hold the big shutter button to start recording a video.
